Fool-Proof Rice Simply add a measured amount of rice (brown, white, long-grain, wild, or other varieties) to the inner pot and pour in the proper amount of water. With the tempered glass lid in place, press the "on" switch. The rice cooker takes over from there--no more standing over a hot stove or need for continuous checking.
