Add the espresso grounds, tamping them down firmly, and attach the portafilter to the unit. Position your cup under the brew head and aim the frothed-milk dispensing tube to the center of your cup. If making espresso, the pull-out height-adjustment cup tray can be used for raising up smaller demitasse cups. Next, turn the froth control knob to adjust the froth amount to match your choice of beverage or foam preference.
