Norton Crystolon Fluted Hand Rubbing Brick with Handle, 8" Length x 3-1/2" Width x 1-1/2" Height

The Norton fluted hand rubbing brick is made of silicon carbide (Crystolon) and has a fluted surface and a handle for use in masonry and stonework applications, such as smoothing concrete and removing mold marks. The fluted surface has diagonal grooves with sharp edges for debris removal and clean shearing action. Silicon carbide is a sharp, aggressive grain that offers high penetration, fast cutting, and high material removal even under light pressure. The C20 extra-coarse grit size allows for faster cutting than abrasives with a finer grit, and the firmly bonded handle facilitates overhead, floor, and wall jobs.

The brick measures 1-1/2 x 3-1/2 x 8 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)

Rubbing bricks (also called abrasive blocks) are rectangular pieces of coarse abrasive material that are used for cleaning and smoothing hard surfaces such as concrete, stone, and other abrasive cutting tools.
